GORGEOUS hand made and decorated English art pottery MOORCROFT vase!

This is one of the most beautifully decorated examples of Moorcroft we have seen, the colors are absolutely stunning! They look like the early Morris Ware art pottery pieces!

We photographed in natural lighting. The vase screams Arts and Crafts era, but it was made in 1953 just after Queen Mary passed away. It still retains it's paper label with the Royal warrant.
This is a Walter Moorcroft piece in the ORCHIDS pattern, created in 1937 by his father William Moorcroft. The Orchids pattern ran until the late 1950s. Most likely due to the expense of all the hand painting!
This beautiful vase measures about: 4.5 inches high and about 12.5 inch circumference. As stated the colors are dazzling as is the artistic workmanship.
The condition is fabulous -no chips or cracks-only slight crazing to the glossy glaze on top. It is a fantastic vase and example of fine Moorcroft art pottery to decorate with and add proudly to your collection of Art Pottery.
