Fabulous French evening purse bag with luxury brocade fabric with woven metal gold thread, and gorgeous clasp and beaded frame.

This is a beautiful evening hand bag, big enough to carry a 1920s Flapper's needs for the evening party or would be wonderful as a bridal purse!

It measures 7 inches across the widest part by 5.25 inches, with handle it measures about 9 inches in length, in all original condition, lovely gold frame, with sparkling diamante and French beads with filigree like gold clasp, just wonderful.

The interior still has the original lining, has a few light lipstick marks ( did not try to remove) otherwise clean, the back has a small section where the brocade has separated-not easily noticed as seen in the back image, otherwise just wonderful. The beautiful bag is marked BIRKS ( Canada's answer to Tiffany's) made in France.
